Synopsis: A wealthy heiress’s world is turned upside down, when she discovers that her husband is having an affair.
For this fourth installment, the introduction that opens each of the previous Tokyo Train Girls films has been dropped. While these nonsensical opening buffers often contained humorous comments from each film’s leading ladies. They really add nothing to the stories at hand. As this series progressed along the formulaic nature of these stories really began to wear thin by this latest entry Tokyo Train Girls 4: Young Wife’s Desires. In fact the groping sequences which played an integral part in Tokyo Train Girls: Private Lessons. They have become a caricature of their former self.
And while the stories for these Tokyo Train Girls films have never really aspired to be much more than a skeleton for what are essentially fetish peep shows. By this fourth installment any resemblance of trying to tell an interesting story has all but been abandoned. Even the sex scenes and groping scenes lack the heat that they once possessed. The plot for Tokyo Train Girls 4: Young Wife’s Desires echoes many themes that had been previous films in the series like cheating husbands and betrayal from a friend. The one area where this film does not disappoint is its leading ladies Anzu Nanba and Meika Kitagawa, who are most known for their work in JAV (Japanese Adult Video).
The DVD:
Cinema Epoch presents Tokyo Train Girls 4: Young Wife’s Desires in a letterboxed widescreen. Flesh tones look accurate, black levels fare well, colors are nicely saturated and details generally look crisp. There are no problems with compression and edge enhancement is while present it is never to excessive.
This release comes with one audio option a Dolby Digital stereo mix in Japanese. Removable English subtitles that are easy to follow and error free have been included. The audio is in very good shape as dialog is always clear and everything sounds balanced.
Extras for this release include a image gallery with music from the film playing in the background and a promo image gallery of titles that are available on DVD from Cinema Epoch. Overall Cinema Epoch gives Tokyo Train Girls 4: Young Wife’s Desires a good audio / video presentation that is on par with their Tokyo Train Girls 3: The Sensuous Nurse DVD release.
