Synopsis: A team of fraudulent paranormal investigators get more then bargained for, when they experience a real paranormal occurrence.

When compared to other Horror films parodies like the Scary Movie series. This film stumbles more often, then it gets it right. With this films glaring flaw being its inconsistent pacing, which kills any chance of sustaining any momentum. Another area in which this film does not quit gel are the performances from the cast, who’s operatic performances often verge into the over the top category.

With that being said, one performance comes away nearly unscathed and that performance would be Andrew Pozza in the role of Damon Dealer, the leader of the paranormal investigators at the center of this absurd horror / comedy parody. The best way to sum up the character he is portraying, think of the illusionist Chris Angel.

Ultimately, Supernatural Activity is horror / comedy hybrid that parodies several well known horror films. Most notably films like the Paranormal Activity films, The Blair Witch Project and The Exorcist. And obviously the humor in this film and how effective it is with perspective viewer relies a lot on how well said viewers are familiar with the films which are being parody.

The DVD:

Well Go USA presents Supernatural Activity in an anamorphic widescreen that retains the films intended aspect ratio. This transfer looks as good as one would expect for a low budget film that was shot on digital cameras.

This release comes with two audio options, a Dolby Digital 5.1 mix in English and a Dolby Digital Stereo mix in English. The differences between these two audio mixes in minimal. Though limited at times range wise, both audio mixes sound clear and balanced throughout.

Extras for this film are limited to a trailer for the film. Also included with this release are trailers for other titles also available from Well Go USA. Overall Supernatural Activity gets a good audio / video presentation from Well Go USA.
