Synopsis: A young woman wakes up in the woods and has no idea how she got there. How did she get there? Has she been in an accident?
The who’s, why’s and where’s of this story are not as easy to gauge as they are in most films. Some of this has to do with the fact that the film was shot with no dialog and only a score. To the filmmakers credit the visuals more than make up for this lack of dialog. Whether it be the bleached out, look of the film or its evocative imagery which includes a mysterious figure who wears a mask. There is no shortage of atmosphere in this film. Who is this mysterious person in the mask? Is it the grim reaper or could it be a reflection of herself? When all is said and done, the abstract feel to the story at hand and how it lends itself to multiple interpretations. Are its greatest strength.
