This DVD set brings together three episodes from a UK based series titled ‘Ghostcircle’. The first episode is titled ‘The Mermaid Inn’, this episode focuses on a haunted inn and its ghostly inhabitants. The second episode is titled ‘Scotland’s Haunted Bunker’, this episodes title sums up the gist of what this one is about. The third episode is titled ‘The Guy Fawkes Inn’, this episode like the previous two revolves locations that are haunted.
In between shots of these locations and comments from paranormal experts. There are plenty of night cam shots in which those involved claim to see ghostly entities, including Michael Jackson’s face. While there are some interesting moments in these episode. There tends to be a lot of filler that amounts to very little. When all is said and done, even those who are more receptive to the world of the paranormal while find these three episodes a chore to sit through.
All the content is presented in an anamorphic widescreen. Overall the quality looks good, just never great. The release comes with one audio mix, a Dolby Digital mix in Stereo. The audio at times sounds muffled and I found myself having to adjusting volume several times. On the plus side background noise is kept to a minimum. All three discs included with this release come with static menu’s and the only extra content is a promo for Reality Entertainment.
