The plot for this film is broken down into three separate erotica themed stories. The first story ‘O Prazer da Virtude’revolves around two high school girls, who instead of studying for the big test. They decide that exploring every inch of each others bodies is a more interesting subject. This is the most straight forward of the three stories. It is also the least interesting. The girls progression sexually as the story evolves is rather predictable. With the big surprise at the end of the story also behind just as underwhelming as what precedes it.The seconds story ‘As Gazelas’ centers around two lovers who prepare for a hot and heavy romantic evening. This is the most surprising of the three stories with the opening foreplay set up between the two lovers leading the viewer in the opposite direction from where things end up. Also this segments most compelling aspect is how the women is the pursuer and the man is the one who wants to wait until he knows her better. Before having sex. This also helps drive how the sex scenes. Which are easily the more erotic than they are in the other two stories.

The third story ‘O Gafanhoto’ revolves around a blind woman and her male servant who takes care of her. This segment is the most inventive of the three segments. And while erotica plays an important part to the story at hand. This scene is also rooted in fantasy. With the blind woman of the story being able to see what those around her doing via all the mirrors in the house. Unlike the two previous stories the two participants in this story are not willing partners. The male servant feels trapped by the woman he takes care of. His evolving hostility plays an integral part in the segments unforgettable conclusion.

Even though the score is credited to a composer named Ronaldo Lark. It is actually mostly made up of music taken from various other sources. Some of the more memorable musical motifs include Elton John’s ‘Funeral for a Friend’, Pink Floyd ‘Atom Heart Mother’, music from Deep Red and a theme song that sounds a lot like the Carl Douglas song ‘Kung Fu Fighting’.
