Synopsis: A UFO deposits an alien wearing a radioactive diving suit. Without the suit he is invisible to the human eye.
This movie has it all. Non-stop dialog that makes sense but is totally uninteresting. Extreme fast cuts within scenes that hop around like a frog in a blender. A large cast of characters that all deliver their reams of dialog in a stuporous drone. Lots of invisible man [alien] effects such as doors opening and chairs spinning. Lots of driving around listening to static, walking around listening to Geiger counters, and standing around in offices smoking cigarettes.
In fact, the only thing this picture lacks is anything to interest the viewer. This is an interminable viewing experience.
The DVD:
The DVD is quite acceptable. It’s flagged for progressive scan and includes closed captions. The colorized version is preferred because at least visuals of the terrain maps are striking.
