The product being reviewed contains all softcore features.

Nympho Cycler: This film was never considered lost because nobody had ever heard of it. Supposedly Ed Wood wrote and directed, but in any event he most certainly appears in it. The title character and star is Casey Larrain (Street of a Thousand Pleasures) who had appeared earlier with Ed Wood in Love Feast (aka Pretty Models All In A Row). She does an excellent job here as a desirable free-love hippie chick; which she obviously was.

This picture is so class that it has a theme song. Then, following some quite appealing footage of Casey in the hot tub her mother, um, husband comes out and it’s Ed Wood in full drag. He strips down (not quite all the way) and joins her for some frolicking in the pool. In another scene he berates her while attempting to photograph her and we listen to a phone conversation as he pimps her out. Disgusted, she takes off on her bad motorcycle, runs out of gas, meets and greets a lesbian couple, then picks up a biker. After the wild gang party complete with multiple mommas dancing naked, she goes sight seeing with Carl (‘the only one of the bunch that she would ball again, because she picked him out herself’). But, things take a turn for the worse when Carl is brutally beaten by three thugs in an alley and she is captured and bound and . . .

Wow, okay, I don’t have any proof but I think Ed Wood did write this. This is a really enjoyable feature that is quite well made (considering). It has live sound combined with a voice-over narration by Casey’s character and a good score that features some rather heavy fuzz instrumental at times. Unfortunately the soundtrack has some degradation and fades occasionally, sometimes disappearing momentarily, but it still gets the job done. The source print has some splices and jumps but otherwise is quite good. Kudos for the excellent cover graphics which look like authentic pulp paperback cover art.

This is a softcore feature that displays lots of bush and [limp] male genitalia, and one couple is definitely doing it for real (the scene without Casey Larrain). It does seem based upon a novel as Casey’s voice-over narration clues us in on the broader aspects of situations that have been condensed for the screenplay, in typical Ed Wood fashion.

Plus The Lost Films Of Casey Larrain

Speaking of Ed Wood fashion, Caught In The Can tells the tale of two losers who decide to dress as girls so they can waylay sailors on leave. Instead they get busted as prostitutes and delivered to the women’s lockup. It takes 20 minutes for the setup but it is well done and immensely entertaining before we even get to the first sex scene. This includes Casey’s monologue about how she was innocently parading around in the nude in her own back yard and ended up in jail. Also on hand is men’s magazine regular Linda Vroom as the officer in charge. Sexual liaisons commence in a well designed set in a tongue-in-cheek manner.

The Scent Of Love is an aphrodisiac invented by a chemist and his horny pal. They spray some in the Ladies Room and it causes the next visitor to pleasure herself with a toilet brush!!! So the horny pal steals it (the formula) and puts it in his hair and scores with his girlfriend. This is also, if you can believe it, a cautionary tale about the potential evils of scientific advancement. Once again this is a “hard X” softcore feature but Casey jumps a foot suddenly when the chemist dude goes down on her for real. From that point on he seems to be really enjoying himself with the other girls.

Hedonist Hypnotist masquerades as a public service announcement as to what could happen to your wife and daughters. Due to the many different [all female] subjects being cured for smoking and weight loss but instead subjected to varying degrees of sexual abuse, there might be cause for panic. So says the never-ending monologue by the Voice Of Reason. But the script is washed out of any passion or plot and the source print of any color or detail.

The ‘rare clip’ from Love Making USA is actually from a compilation which draws upon Love Feast (aka Pretty Models All In A Row) which is available in far superior condition elsewhere.

Consider Nympho Cycler, Caught In The Can, and The Scent Of Love as worthy of purchase and multiple viewings. These are incredibly rare relics representing the last dying moans from the era of softcore cinema.
