Anchor Bay DVD

Paul Latour is a night club owner who is forced to flee the country when gangsters frame him a crime he didn’t commit. Latour entrusts the care of his rambunctious teenage daughter Brigitte (Brigitte Bardot) with the nightclubs headline performer Jean Clery (Jean Bretonnière) until he is able to clear his name and return home. Will Jean be able to handle Brigitte’s wild ways or will he be able to tame her?
Video:
Transfer wise both releases look nearly identical with the Loins Gate release having slightly stronger blacks and more natural looking flesh tones. In the end they both look really good and you can’t go wrong with either one.
Audio:
Both films come with only one audio option French and they both come with English subtitles. The subtitles for both releases are error free and easy to follow. The audio like the video is in great shape and the differences are marginal at best.
Extras:
The Anchor Bay release comes with only a text bio about Brigitte Bardot and a trailer for Naughty Girl. The Loins Gate release is only available as part of their Brigitte Bardot box set which comes with one extra a fifteen minute featurette about Brigitte Bardot. The set also comes with four other movies Come Dance with Me, The Vixen, Love on a Pillow and Two Weeks in September.
Overall:
Both releases of Naughty Girl offer a solid audio/video presentation. Once again since the Anchor Bay release is OOP the Loins Gate release which is equally as good of a release is the one to get.
