Synopsis: Haunted by a series of erotic dreams, an artist visits a therapist hoping to unlock the meaning behind these dreams.

Mystery Girl is Mr. E’s follow to Mystery World of Sex. Content wise Mystery Girl picks up where its predecessor left off and continuation of what was started with Nerdy Girls.

The film’s begins with strong opening setup which lays all the back-story that is need for the mystery that is about to unfold. Unfortunately from there this is where traditional narrative ends and the sex scenes take over.

And getting back to the sex scenes there are five of them. Fortunately to their credit they lack uniformity as they vary in duration and when it comes to the sexual acts they are not just a repeat of what occurred in the previous scene.

At nearly two and half hours Mystery Girl delivers its most fatal blow with an ambiguous ending that most viewers will find frustrating.

The DVD:

This release comes on a DVD-R and the film is presented in an anamorphic transfer which does a very good job retaining the intended look of the film.

This release comes with one audio option, a Dolby Digital stereo mix in English. The audio sounds clear and balanced throughout.

There is no extra content. Just a static menu that offers two options, watch the movie or chapter selection. Overall Mystery Girl gets a good audio / video presentation.

This DVD can be purchased at TLA and PopPorn.
