Synopsis: When his dreams of directing a mainstream film are crushed. An aspiring filmmaker makes the transition from mainstream cinema into the seedy world of hardcore pornography. Not satisfied with the limitations of making pornographic films. He decides to push the boundaries of art by assembling a group of performers, who travel the countryside and perform live sex acts. Unfortunately their act in not well received by the locales and they struggle to make ends meet. Determined to carry on against great odds, they are given one last chance to make the money they desperately need. They are approached by a snuff film producer, who wants them to film the death willing participants.

Though there have been countless films that have depicted the rise and fall of its protagonist due to their decadent and destructive behavior. The way in which this film explores a much traversed route is anything but familiar or routine.

First off, this film’s subject matter the world of pornography and its unflinching depicting of this world are sure to get under the skin of the majority of those, who dare to view this subversive cinematic concoction. We are not just talking about simulated sexual acts here! This is full on hardcore sex and in at least one instance there is a scene involving oral on an animal.

And while scenes of sexual depravity are this film bread and butter. It does not shy away from brutally graphic moments of violence, especially during the scenes in which characters that have agreed to participate in snuff films off themselves.

Another area where this film stands apart from other films of its ilk. Is that it refuses to have a moral compass and by time its finale rolls around it leaves the viewer with one last kick in the balls. With this final moment of desperation offers a very plausible conclusion to what has just unfolded.

The look and feel of the film is approached as though what you are watching was being assembled for a documentary. This guerilla style of filmmaking helps reinforce and drive home the bleakness that engulfs just about every frame of this film.

Performance wise, one would be hard pressed to fault any of the performances here. Since every last actor in this film gives their all by pushing the boundaries at every twist and turn.

In closing, to simply write this film off as something that is shocking and grotesque would be a great disservice and completely miss the point that this film is trying to make. If you dig a little deeper and look past what is being offered up on the surface. You will find an engrossing character study about the darker side of humanity.
