The plot’s for all four film’s included within this ‘Lesbian Vampire Lovers Collection’all follow a similar blueprint. The all revolve around a female vampire who lusts after the ladies and a her main nemesis is a descendant of the Van Helsing clan in three of the films.Anyone going into to these films looking for character development or intricate plots should look elsewhere. These four film’s are all intended as humorous sex romps that heap on the lesbian action. And in this regard they are fairly successful.

The first two film’s in this collection, Vampire Seduction and Vampire Vixens were directed by John Bacchus (Gladiator Eroticvs, Play-Mate of the Apes, Kinky Kong). Vampire Seduction is the shortness film in the collection at fifty five minutes in length. This helps this film when compared to the other films in this collection. Since all four film’s do stretch out their premise way beyond its effectiveness. Vampire Vixens is an unofficial sequel that feels like it was just thrown together.

My Vampire Lover, is easily the weakest film in this collection. The humor often falls flat and the erotica comes off as contrived. Just about the only saving grace this film has is a retarded cable guy who is this stories ‘Van Helsing’.

By the time the four and final films arrives. The feeling of deja vu has set in. The fourth film in this collection Sexy Adventures of Van Helsing, a more polished version of Vampire Seduction. Surprisingly this one actually works, as there is a good balance between lesbian action and humor. Also is should be noted that the main reason why this film works is the performance from its leading lady Erika Smith (Bite Me!, Shock-O-Rama, Splatter Beach), who is cast in the role of the ‘Van Helsing’ character.

The DVD:

All four films included in this collection are presented in a 4:3 full frame aspect ratio. The weakest looking transfer is Vampire Seduction. While the strongest looking transfer is The Sexy Adventures of Van Helsing. Colors and flesh tones look accurate. Black levels are average and details generally look crisp.

Each film comes with one audio option, a Dolby Digital stereo mix in English. All of these audio mixes are serviceable presentations that make the most of the limitations of these film’s source materials.

Extras on disc one include Outtakes & Bloopers for Vampire Seduction (9 minutes 45 seconds – 4:3 full frame) and a behind the scenes segment for Vampire Vixens (17 minutes 31 seconds – 4:3 full frame).

Extras on disc two include behind the scene segments for The Sexy Adventures of Van Helsing (19 minutes 48 seconds – 4:3 full frame) and My Vampire Lover (11 minutes 33 seconds – 4:3 full frame).

Also included with this release is a collectible booklet with detailed and informative liner notes about the four films included with this collection. Overall Seduction Cinema have put together another affordable repacking of titles that they had previously released as standalone DVD releases.
