Scorpion Releasing continues to issue their acquisitions from Indian softcore guru Jag Mundhra and his Everest Pictures production company, their release of the writer, producer and director’s 1994 erotica outing, Improper Conduct.

This film is a bit sleazier and moderately more enjoyable than its sister Scorpion release Irresistible Impulse, if only for the more energetic sex scenes and greasier plotline of a sexual harassment lawsuit gone murderously wrong. That being said, Improper Conduct is still a tedious chore to sit through, primarily for the horrid 90s fashions and schmaltzy sax score which seems to accompany every mechanical sequence of nudity.

The film is a relic of sorts; one rarely, if ever produced today, after the internet explosion of the late 90s. With so many options available for those seeking their daily dose of skin, films such as Improper Conduct seem quaint and comparatively antiquated in their po-faced seriousness. The fact that no one in Mundhra’s films seems to be having any fun sentences them to a dour death for those who are trying to grasp on to any entertainment value from these films.

As such, Improper Conduct is better delegated to Skinimax memory.

The DVD:

Scorpion Releasing presents Improper Conduct in its original, full screen video aspect ratio, with no noticeable audio or video errors. Extras, once again are limited only to the original trailer, and the DVD does not contain chapter stops. Overall, Improper Conduct receives a sub-par and disinterested presentation from Scorpion Releasing.
