Synopsis: Channel 69, WSEX, is anchored by a trio of sexy and uninhibited anchors whose serve up hands on investigations in everything related to carnal desires.

Hot Flashes was written and directed by Leonard Kirtman who’s other notable films include, Carnival of Blood, Reunion and Female Athletes.

The narrative features a series of tongue and cheek segments in which the three anchors perform various sexual acts. And in-between these segments there are a few sex related commercials. Some of the products being sold include, a pill that helps with male arousal, a restaurant that has a menu comprised of various sex acts and an airline with very friendly stewardesses who give new meaning to the mile-high club.

The sex scenes are all well executed and the cast all deliver enthusiastic performances. With the standout sex scenes being a scene where one of the anchors’ give a soundman a blowjob, the faux commercial where the waitress serve as sex as the main menu item and an orgy sex set to classical music.

The DVD:

Hot Flashes is presented in an anamorphic widescreen that retains the film’s intended aspect ratio. The 2k transfer created for this release was sourced from the film’s 35mm original camera negative. The source is in very good shape, colors are nicely saturated and details look sharp.

This release comes with one audio option, a Dolby Digital mono mix in English. Dialog comes through clearly and everything sounds balanced. It should be noted that there are a few minor instances where the audio has background noise.

This release comes with no extra content.

Overall Hot Flashes gets a strong audio / video presentation from Vinegar Syndrome.
