Horat: The Sexual Learnings of America for Make Benefit Beautiful Nation of Kaksuckistanis a porn parody of the Sasha Baron Cohen 2006 feature film Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan. Horat follows in the footsteps of countless other porn parodies (Edward Penishands, A Clockwork Orgy, Foreskin Gump).

And just like its predecessors, Horat is not much more than a series of sex scenes held ever so loosely together by dialog driven moments which barely help propel the story forward. Also it should be pointed out that the version included for this release is a soft-core version even though there is a hard-core version. Releasing a soft-core version of a hard-core film is like releasing an action film without any action scenes. This kind of defeats the purpose of making such a film.

It is doubtful that the hard-core version would make this film any more enjoyable and if you are interested in seeking out porn parodies. There are most definitely more entertaining and better made porn parodies then Horat.

The DVD:

Horat!, is presented in a 1.85:1 letterboxed widescreen. This transfer has been flagged for progressive playback. This is an average looking transfer that does a good job with the limitations of the source materials.

This release comes with one audio option a Dolby Digital stereo mix in English. Everything sounds clear and balanced throughout.

Extras for this release include a photo gallery and a promo clip for The Ho. C. (a sex themed take on the T.V. series The OC). Overall Horat!, gets a serviceable DVD release.
