Synopsis: A social inept man who works at the “Internally Yours” feminine Hygiene Company enlists the help of a mysterious stranger named ‘The Magician’ to help him with the skills he needs to bed women.

Originally released under the title Heads or Tails and later released under the more familiar title Honey Buns. The sex scenes in this film come off as inserts and this film was most likely originally a soft-core film that was later re-released as adult cinema became more lucrative.

This film features a well constructed narrative that firmly establishes this films protagonist. And this character is superbly portrayed by an actor named Matt Hewitt, whose only other film credit is Hollywood Babylon. His effortless timing when it comes to the more humorous moments is without a doubt this film’s most durable asset. With the last act of the film were he takes a magical pill given to him by ‘The Magician’ being some of the funniest moments as every time when he is just about to ecstasy girls start to disappear into thin air.

As mentioned before the way sex scenes are constructed leads one to believe that some footage was shot after the fact. With that being said, this does not diminish these sex scenes in anyway. And the end results are far better than most films that have had similar situations.

The cast features two well known soft-core actresses Uschi Digard and Rene Bond. And though both of their parts are limited and not much more then cameos, both ladies leave an undeniable mark on this film in their limited screen time. Overall Honey Buns is a highly entertaining film that finds just the right balanced between humor and sex.

The DVD:

Honey Buns is presented in its intended 1.33:1 aspect ratio. Print debris is minimal, colors fare well, details generally look crisp and there are no issues with compression.
