All four films included with this collection are erotica spoofs of Hollywood blockbusters. The humor is often more hit, than miss in these four films. There is an ample amount of lesbians getting it on in these four films. They feature many of the same cast members. And while it is apparent that they are all having a good with their enthusiastic performances. The overall acting as a whole is adequate at best. There really is no need to give detailed plot descriptions for each film. Since anyone who has seen any of the films which these are based on should already have a good idea of what each film is about. The first film, Gladiator Eroticvs is the weakest of the lot. This tedious sexy send up was inspired by Ridley Scott’s Gladiator. The second film, Play-Mate of the Apes is a slight improvement over the aforementioned Gladiator Eroticvs. If you haven’t guessed it yet. Play-Mate of the Apes is a spoof of The Planet of the Ape films. The third film Lord of the G-Strings heaps on the sex scenes and almost disregards anything that resembles a plot. This one was very loosely based on the Lord of the Rings trilogy. After almost winning me over with Play-Mate of the Apes. Lord of the G-Strings is a step in the wrong direction.

By the time I got to the fourth film SpiderBabe. I had expected yet another mediocre spoof. To my surprise SpiderBabe was everything that I had hoped the other films were. There is a good balance between erotica and the plot. Also this film which was inspired by Spiderman, it does a good job incorporating into this soft score spoof the key elements which are integral to the Spiderman character.

The DVD:

All four films are presented in their original 4:3 full frame aspect ratios. The weakest looking transfer is Gladiator Eroticvs. While Lord of the G-Strings and SpiderBabe are the strongest transfers. Colors and flesh tones look accurate. Black levels range from average to good. Even though details generally look crisp. There is noticeable sharpening of the image that looks more pronounced on the Gladiator Eroticvs and Play-Mate of the Apes. Than it does on the other two films.

Each film comes with one audio option, a Dolby Digital stereo mix in English. Audio wise while none of these tracks are going to wow you with their range. They are all at least serviceable presentations.

Extras on disc one are limited a documentary titled ‘Inside Misty Mundae’ (68 minutes 4 seconds – 4:3 full frame). This documentary which covers her career up to 2002 was also included with Seduction Cinema’s 2004 DVD release titled ‘Misty Mundae: Girl Seduction’.

Extras on disc two is a trailer gallery titled ‘Seduction Cinema Spoof Trailers’. Which includes not only includes trailers for the four films included with this collection. There are 16 other trailers for other sexy spoofs that are also available on DVD from Seduction Cinema.

None of the extras from these four film’s previous DVD releases have been carried over for this DVD release. This release comes with a DVD booklet that includes a liner notes about the four films included with this set, a Q & A with Misty Mundae and a text piece about make-up artist / performer Michael R. Thomas who passed away last year. Overall if you missed out on these films the first time around. Now you can pick them up at via this more than affordable release from Seduction Cinema.
