There are an impressive 39 shorts here, but that’s not the only selling point. Of course, there are a few bored strippers doing their same old bump and grind in a studio (think Orgy of the Dead here). But there are far more hits than misses, mostly the girls are quite attractive and actively engage the camera. Figures are fairly evenly split between moderately and generously endowed – there are no skinny dope fiends or obese lard buckets here.

There are a few non-nude loops, but these are quite interesting and worth inclusion. The first features a skimpily dressed blonde who cavorts about in a field, then dances with the scarecrow when he ‘comes alive’. Other non-nude subjects include catfights and Virginia Bell trying [and succeeding] not to bust out of her top.

The nudie films tend to feature a single girl, a small set, and a static camera. These loops are well selected and are far above average for their ilk. Two rare shorts have original (post dubbed) sound, the others have a soft jazz backing track.The DVD:

The shorts are remastered and restored and look far better than expected. In addition, disk 2 includes 10 more bonus 8mm loops. These were ‘transferred’ from 16mm to 8mm for mail order sales, and are soft and grainy with substantial wear. They are also of lesser interest, the best of the bunch featuring Candy Barr. There are also trailers for other company product including Joe Sarno and nudie features. Overall, the excellence of this set places the bar pretty high for future releases from Retro Seduction cinema.

Those looking for porn should go elsewhere. This is a quality collection of interesting studies of the [mostly] nude female form. For those so inclined, this is a treasure trove.
