The Satanic Sluts 2: The Black Masses is an essentially a visual documentation of the eleven live Black Mass shows from 2004 and 2005. The documentary film opens with an introduction from its director Nigel Wingrove who gives an overview of the origins of these performances and the difficulty in finding locations which would allow these performances. The Satanic Sluts 2: The Black Masses breaks down the eleven shows into four segments. Each of the eleven shows is represented even though no complete shows are included. There are interviews with some of the girls who performed at the shows which are at the end of each segment and the documentary ends with an epilogue from Nigel Wingrove.
Here is an overview of the clips included and the titles they are given. “Sadistic Nuns”, “Pole Dancing”, “Reed Riding Hood”, “The Nuns”, “Vampire Attack”, “Cenobite Belly Dance”, “A Black Mass at Midnight”, “Bloody Roses”, “Nazi-go-go-dancers”, “Candles Belly Dance”, “Satanic Nativity”, “Chinese Torture Show”, Inquisition”, “Cruciform Torment”, “Pierced Bride”, “Frankenstein!”, “Crucifixion”, “Incest Rape Part 1 and 2”, “tea Ceremony Murder”, “Satanic Cheerleaders”, “Nazi-she-bitch”, “Voodoo Sex Sacrifice”, “Mummy”, “Happy Ever After”, “Angel Violation”, “Ballet Attack”, “Cowgirl Dancer”, “Magic Part 1 and 2”, “Jekyll and Hyde”, “Catatonic Abuse”, “Drunk” and “Fan Dance”.
All the performance clips are accompanied by music. The music that accompanies these performances is industrial, techno and classic. Even though each performance clips in The Satanic Sluts 2: The Black Masses has a defined theme to them they are more a visual experience than a cohesive narrative story. All one has to do is look at the titles given for each performance clip to get a general idea of what they are in for while watching The Satanic Sluts 2: The Black Masses. Ultimately The Satanic Sluts 2: The Black Masses is a fascinating documentary that gives a thorough over of the eleven Black Mass shows.
