Everything about this film screams late 1980’s adult cinema. And though there are moments of exposition which keep this films anemic narrative together. These moments are all to brief and the sex scenes make up the bulk of this film’s running time.
The sex scenes feature some student and teacher action, partner swapping and when there are no men around the ladies help each other out. Of course, this is a Carlos Tobalina and it culminates with the all too familiar orgy scene.
Despite the lack of exposition, the performances are actually very enjoyable. With this film’s standout performances being Bunny Bleu and Candie Evans in the role of the two sexually adventurous roommates. The rest of the cast is made up of a trio of well-known make actors, Tom Byron (Trashy Lady) and Marc Wallice in the role of the two roommates boyfriends and Ron Jeremy (Sweet Young Foxes) in the role of the teacher who is all too willing to help Bunny Bleu’s character in her quest for a better grade.
The film opens like so many Carlos Tobalina films. With footage from a sex scene which takes place later in the film. The bulk of the dialog is in the film’s opening setup and after that it is pretty much nonstop sex scenes. Most of which are orgies.
Though the cast are all very enthusiastic when it comes to the sex scenes. The only performances are Colleen Brennan (Alice Goodbody) in the role of one of the doctors assistants and director Carlos Tobalina in the role of a sex therapist who likes to take a hands on approach with his patients.
Vinegar Syndrome present both films in anamorphic widescreen that preserves their intended aspect ratios. The sources used for both are in great shape and any print related damage is minimal. Colors and flesh tones look accurate and details generally look crisp. Also there are no issues with compression and edge enhancement is kept to a minimum.
Each film comes with one audio option, a Dolby Digital mono mix in English. Both audio mixes are in good shape and dialog comes through clearly.
This release comes with no extra content.
Overall a pair of Carlos Tobalina films get strong audio / video presentations from Vinegar Syndrome.
